How do I complete my ILM Certificate?

Level 3 Certificate in Coaching consists of 3 Units

2 Day interactive workshop

  • Understand good practice in workplace coaching
  • Know how to improve performance through effective coaching
  • Know the requirements to complete the ILM3 assessments

Reflective coaching diary

  • Based on an extended period of coaching in the workplace
  • Analysis of coaching skills and effectiveness
  • Future personal development plan

Written assessment

  • Understand the context for effective workplace coaching
  • Understand the process and content of effective workplace coaching

By the end of the ILM3 Open Coaching Programme you will be able to: 

  • Explain how coaching relates to improved performance 
  • Know what qualities are needed to be an effective performance coach
  • Understand how coaching works – learn a coaching model, tools and techniques to support your coaching 
  • Describe each step of the Coaching Cycle and use it effectively to coach
  • Analyse, assess and plan to improve your own coaching ability
  • Be confident and skilled in your role as a coach
  • Have a plan to implement coaching to improve performance in your team 
  • Know what is expected in order to complete your ILM Level 3 Certification assessment
